Description: Listing is for a Live plant, rooted rhizome with at least 1 new actively growing shoot. Zingiber Zerumbet is a perennial plant with narrow green leaves that put out new growth in the spring. When the stems reach approximately 4 feet, green pine cone like flowers emerge on shorter stems. Sometimes called pinecone ginger because of the flowers appearance. When the flower matures they turn red and can be squeezed. The juice is used for hair and skin and has a wonderful scent.
