Ultra Rare Iguanura Bicornis Palm

Name: Iguanura Bicornis 

Description: Hailing from the Malay Peninsula of Thailand and named for its seed with two curious, horn-like lobes on one end.  This dwarf clustering palms small leaves hold only a few glossy, fishtail-shaped leaflets.  A wonderful addition for the palm collector.

Care:  Best suited for the humid, tropical garden but will also take periods of cooler weather. A rich, slightly acidic soil with very good drainage is need. Like many other understory palms they prefer moist soil, but are sensitive to being overwatered. Provide shade, protect from strong winds and freezing temps. Cold hardiness 10b.
