Description: Medinilla Magnifica is a small evergreen shrub native to the Philippines where it is usually found growing on trees in tropical forests. In late spring to early summer, the plant is covered by it's famous drooping clusters of delicate pink flowers that look somewhat like grapes hanging from a chandelier. With the right care it can be grown as a stunning houseplant or patio attraction.
Care: Medinilla Magnifica has large succulent green leaves, which store moisture similar to other succulent plants. It needs a warm and humid environment to survive. It cannot tolerate temperatures below 50 degrees. Grow the plant in filtered shade to full sun but avoid avoid direct afternoon sun during the hottest part of the day.
