Name: Lanonia dasyantha (Formerly Licuala dasyantha)

Description: Lanonia dasyantha is a rare small, clumping palm native to the rainforests in northern Vietnam. Now listed on the endangered and protected list, it's beautiful fan shaped, mottled with yellow dots and rings on its deep green foliage make this a great palm for the collector.

Care: Kept in Indoors or out this palm needs a warmth, consistent humidity, moist soil and filtered / indirect light. Too much direct bright light will change the beautiful signature mottling. Less finicky than the Iconic Licuala Mapu it can take brief cold spells, but should be protected from freezing temperatures or long periods of cold weather.

NOTE: The item pictured is similar to the plant you will receive. Plants are unique; the shape, size, color and number of leaves may sometimes vary. Contact our shop if you have any questions. All Plants and Fruit are grown with care on a small family farm in South Florida.
