Name: Dioon mejiae

Care: Dioons will tolerate full sun in cooler climates but it prefers partial shade, especially in hotter zones. If kept indoors it should receive bright indirect light. A moderate amount of water to keep the soil moist is best. The plant will slowly become drought tolerant as it ages. Reduce watering in winter slightly, but prevent the soil from totally drying out. Good airflow in more humid conditions will reduce the chances of fungal issues.
