Taste: The color and texture often likened to chocolate pudding when ripe. Black Sapote has a mild, slightly sweet flavor with a nutty, pumpkin-like undertone.
Uses: Sometimes mixed with a bit of cacao/coco powder to to dial up the chocolate notes Black sapote can be tossed into a smoothie, used to make ice cream or even pies!
Nutrition: It contains four times the Vitamin C of an orange, is a good source of potassium & is good for the digestive process as it is an excellent source of dietary fiber.
